White Kidney Bean
The White Kidney Bean plant (Phaseolus vulgaris) is native to Peru, Europe and the Indies. The seeds contain sulfur, and while uses for the whole plant exist, the seeds are most commonly used to get its benefits.
The benefits of white kidney bean extract are numerous, with the most notable being its ability to block starches. Many people become overweight due to the fact that starchy carbohydrate foods are often stored in the body as fat, to be used for energy at a later time.
White kidney bean extract may also be beneficial for lowering triglycerides, degenerative arthritis, coronary artery disease and obesity because of the ability it has to inhibit the body's digestion of complex carbohydrates.
