Sodium tripolyphosphate is the sodium salt of triphosphoric acid. Is a white odourless powder, produced commercially by reaction of phosphoric acid with sodium carbonate. Sodium tripolyphosphate provides a number of chemical functions to improve the efficiency of cleaning products.
