Lonicera
Lonicera is used as an astringent, depurative, expectorant, laxative, diuretic and useful in the treatment of respiratory and catarrh. The flowers are used in external applications for skin infections. Lonicera is considered valuable also for treating the blood stage of disease, helping to clear heat from the blood.
