Iceman Fungus
Iceman Fungus (Fomes fomentarius) is a polypore that grows on wood, particularly birches, beech, and sycamore, in the termperate northern hemisphere. Iceman fungus grows in a hoof shape. It is also known as Tinder Polypore. Historically, it has been used as a styptic to stop bleeding, a remedy against dysmenorrhea, hemorrhoids, and bladder disorders.
