Hecogenin
Hecogenin is one important raw material in the synthesis of steroid hormones. It is used as starting raw material in the production of corticosteroids (Cortisone, Cortisol, Prednisolone, Prednisone, Dexamethasone, Betamethasone, triamcinolone and etc.). It has lowering-cholesterol, anti-tumour, and anti-inflammation medical functions.
