Creatine Ethyl Ester
Creatine Ethyl Ester (CEE) is creatine bonded to an ester. The purpose of this is to make the creatine more easily permeate into the cell membranes of muscle tissue - meaning that the creatine is absorbed more easily and a lower dosage is required.
Creatine ethyl ester is a newer form of creatine that the body absorbs by a different mechanism than creatine monohydrate. Creatine ethyl ester doesn’t require the larger doses or loading phase of creatine monohydrate, but works just as well. Creatine ethyl ester supplements may therefore be preferable for certain athletes who experience bloating and cramps from using creatine monohydrate or those seeking an alternative form of creatine.
