Country Mallow
Country Mallow is an Ayurveda herb found in tropical and sub-tropical plains of India and Sri Lanka. The entire plant including the leaves, stems, roots and seeds are of good medicinal value.
Country Mallow is used as an analgesic, aphrodisiac, diuretic, stimulant, rejuvenative tonic and a healing medicine for wounds. It is also used in treating chronic fever and stomach ailments. This herb has been widely used in ayurvedic treatments as a cardiac stimulant due to the presence of a certain sympathomimetic alkaloid.
