A recent study by Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research at Rutgers and Wesleyan Universities has found that a 12 week program may be all that is needed to overcome binge eating. According to the study, more than sixty three percent of the participants had stopped the cycle of binging one year after the completion of the program as opposed to approximately twenty-eight percent of binge eaters who had not participated.
