Belladonna
Belladonna, also known as “deadly nightshade”, is a herb that can be very dangerous and sometimes even fatal. However, it is known to have active agents with anticholinergic properties, such as the tropane alkaloids atropine, hyoscine , and hyoscyamine which are very beneficial for the body. It has been used for various conditions or indications such as headache, PMS and menstrual symptoms, peptic ulcer disease, inflammation, and motion sickness.
