Bell Pepper
Bell peppers are good sources of vitamins B6, C and K, beta carotene, thiamine, folic acid, as well as significant amount of phytochemicals which provide important antioxidant action in the body to help reduce the number of dangerous free radicals. Studies have shown that red bell peppers have significantly higher concentrations of nutrients than the others. Red bell peppers also contain lycopene, which helps protect the body against cancer and heart disease.
