5-Methoxy-N-Acetyltryptamine
5-methoxy-N-acetyltryptamine, also known as Melatonin, is a hormone produced in the central brain by the pineal gland and is a derivative of the amino acid tryptophan. It is very helpful in regulating sleep and walking cycles. It is used most notably for sleeping disorders, treatment for jetlag, and anti-aging medication.
